2021 NFL Championship Weekend Picks
Kansas City Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid provides an update on Patrick Mahomes' injury that occurred during the fourth quarter in the AFC Divisional Playoff game with the Cleveland Browns Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 in Kansas City. BY KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

This upcoming NFL Sunday will be one of the most exciting days of sports of the year. Nothing beats sitting on the couch for seven straight hours and watching two teams punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

The games this week are very intriguing as both games have major storylines and should lead to exciting matchups. I have four picks for these games and a prop bet in for the AFC Championship.

Picks: Green Bay Packers (-3) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers O/U 51.5

Aaron Rodgers vs. Tom Brady. This game is bound to be a shootout. The Packers offense has really caught their stride these last couple of weeks and I am not exactly sure how the Bucs will contain wide receiver, Davante Adams. He and Rodgers have such a great connection that will be hard to stop.

I do think the Bucs will do a solid job of stopping the run which will cause the Packers to spread out. The Packers defense has also played well these last couple of weeks, but I think they will struggle a bit. Brady will play his best and look to get tight end Rob Gronkowski involved down the seam.

Ultimately, this game will be close until the 4th quarter, when Rodgers will pull away from the Bucs and hit wide Receiver Allen Lazard on another deep touchdown.

Packers 31 Buccaneers 24

Over 51.5

Picks: Kansas City Chiefs (-3) vs. Buffalo Bills O/U 54

To be honest, I think this game will be a blowout. Everyone is giving the Bills too much credit and it has been eerily quiet in Kansas City. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be healthy and ready to return back to the Super Bowl. The Bills’ win over the Baltimore Ravens felt like a huge win, but two key plays shifted a Bills big win from a possible Raven upset.

The Bills were lucky to fall on top of another Josh Allen football and made a great play in the endzone forcing a pick-six that resulted in a 14 point swing. The Chiefs were dominating the Cleveland Browns until Mahomes got hurt. The Chiefs pass rush will have a big impact at the start of this game and force an early turnover. I think the Chiefs will move the ball with ease on Sunday.

Mecole Hardman Over 75 yards and One Touchdown

The Bills’ two best players are Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and cornerback Tre’davious White. These two studs will do a good job in limiting tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill respectively.

However, with most of the focus on those two receiving threats, I think wide receivers Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson will have big days. This leads me into my prop bet as I think Hardman will have the best day of all and go for 75 yards and a touchdown. This prop pays out at 18/1 and I think it is a great value.

However, this prop will have to come in the first three quarters as the Chiefs will likely slow down their pace up a few scores in the 4th. Chiefs win BIG.

Chiefs 31 Bills 10

Under 54
