Nothing beats Super Bowl Sunday. On February 7th, there is potential for one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time. The G.O.A.T (which pains me as a Jet fan) vs. the best player in football right now Patrick Mahomes.
Vegas is expecting a high-scoring, electric game as they have set the over/under at 56.5. Vegas is also giving a slight edge to the Kansas City Chiefs as they are favored by 3 points. I have a pick on the spread and the over/under as well as a player prop.
Kansas City Chiefs (-3) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers O/U 56.5
Patrick Mahomes vs. Tom Brady. While everyone is expecting a lot of points and fast possessions, I think the opposite will happen and Brady and the Bucs will do their best to slow down the clock and keep the Chiefs high powered offense off the field. Brady will do what he does best and move the chains slowly, I think Ronald Jones will be utilized a lot coming out of the backfield and have FIVE catches for 65 yards. The Bucs will have success early in drives but will have to settle for a couple of field goals early in the game.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ball, the Chiefs will look to get the ball into wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s hands. The last time these two teams faced Hill had over 250 yards and 3 touchdowns. I think that the Bucs will focus on limiting the Chiefs’ explosive plays and give room underneath. This should allow tight end Travis Kelce to continue his dominant season and have a big game. However, I think the X-factor for the Chiefs offense and ultimately the game will be rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Bucs star linebacker Devin White will most likely be shadowing Travis Kelce the entire game, causing Lavonte David to cover the running back in most early down situations. I think Mahomes will go to this matchup a lot and utilize CEH out of the backfield.
Edwards-Helaire will have a huge game combining for over 125 yards of rushing/receiving. I think he scores the first touchdown too in a game that will ultimately be decided by 6 points.
