As the years pass, many different teams make a stab for a top spot amongst the best in the NFL. What teams have what it takes to make it to the Super Bowl.
SB LVI (56): Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
As Super Bowl LV came to an end, Tom Brady’s legacy grew larger proving himself worthy of the GOAT status with no other competitors even close. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 31-9. I believe both of these teams have what it takes to make it back to the Super Bowl in 2021.
I think that in order for Patrick Mahomes to make a run at the “GOAT” title he will have to defeat the greatest in the biggest game of the year. After what happened on February 7th there is a chance. Brady and the Bucs go into this one feeling strong about what happened the year before, but Mahomes has different plans for Super Bowl 56. He will get his 2nd ring in his 3rd super bowl.
Prediction:
Chiefs 28
Buccaneers 18
SB LVII (57): Buffalo Bills vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If someone had told you 10 years ago that the Buffalo Bills had the chance to play Tom Brady in his final year in the Super Bowl, would you believe them? Well with the right assets and coaching staff the Bills have found a way to become real contenders. Stefon Diggs will have a spectacular third year with the Bills and Josh Allen will be in MVP form like 2020.
Brady will have had just enough left in his ageless arm to have propelled his team to the Super bowl. He will most likely announce that it will in fact be his final game no matter the outcome and will be playing for yet another Lombardi Trophy.
The Buccaneers’ defense will come up clutch throughout most of the game, but Allen and Diggs will connect just enough to find the holes in the defense and take their advantages. Bills will pull away in the final minutes and just slightly upset the GOAT’s final game in the NFL.
Prediction:
Bills 27
Buccaneers 23
SB LVIII (58): Indianapolis Colts vs Los Angeles Rams
The Indianapolis Colts are missing one puzzle piece to an incredible team. If the Colts can pick up a veteran free-agent quarterback like Dak Prescott or trade for a guy like Carson Wentz, I believe this team is an automatic Super Bowl contender. As for the Rams, Matt Stafford will find himself sitting pretty among the rest of the NFC. Aaron Donald will win yet another Defensive Player Of The Year award and be the first defensive player to win MVP since Lawernce Taylor in 1986. He will be the 3rd player to ever win the award.
The Colts will put up a fight but the Rams Defense will be the playmakers in this one. Stafford and Cooper Kupp will have a legendary night putting up three receiving TDs and over 200 yards. The Colts will fall to the Rams.
Prediction:
Rams 45
Colts 28
SB LIX (59): Kansas City Chiefs vs Washington Football Team
Patrick Mahomes will be playing in his fourth super bowl in eight years. The prodigy will have one of the best seasons of his young promising career. Mahomes will throw for over 5,000 yards and break Peyton Manning‘s record of 55 touchdowns thrown in 2013.
On the flip side of conferences, Ron Rivera will lead the Washington Football team to a dominant 14-2 season with his former Panthers QB Cam Newton at the helm. This game will go down as one of the toughest fought games in Super Bowl history.
The best defense the league has seen since the 85’ Bears vs arguably the most dominant offense since the 13’ Denver Broncos. The score will go up and up in this one but only one team will claim victory in this legendary season.
Prediction:
Chiefs 56
WFT 48
SB LX (60): Baltimore Ravens vs Los Angeles Rams
Aaron Donald will lead his team to another Super Bowl just two years after demolishing the Colts in SB. The Rams won’t have as great of a season as they did two years prior but they will have just enough to get to the Super bowl.
The Baltimore Ravens on the other hand will dominate the AFC and find their way to the Super Bowl for the first time with Lamar Jackson. He will win MVP as he did back in 2019. The Ravens will have one of the most honorable seasons in recent years. They will finish 15-1 choosing to sit out their starters in the last game.
Lamar will struggle at the beginning of the game due to the reckoning of the Rams interior defensive line but will find himself prevailing towards the middle of the 3rd quarter. The Ravens will run away with the lead and make it too hard for the Rams to overcome the deficit. The Ravens will win this one by a landslide. This will mark the first time winning the Super Bowl since SB XLVII.
Prediction:
Ravens 51
Rams 24
[…] My answer: the Buffalo Bills. […]
