Chase Elliott had a fast car and he finished in the runner-up position.

In third came Ryan Blaney. Finishing in the fourth position was Denny Hamlin. Rounding out the top five was Alex Bowman. All the Hendrick Cars were running fast and all looked like they would compete for a victory.

With 89 laps remaining Aric Almirola‘s bad luck continues as he was knocked out of the race when he blew a tire and hit the wall in turn 2. He would finish in 25th.

As the race went on after a long a grueling comeback Kyle Larson has won the Penzoil 400. This is his first win since 2019 when he won the second race at Dover. This also means it is his first win since his indefinite suspension. Kyle Larson has gone from suspension to redemption now.

Kyle Larson has come a long way since his suspension. Since then he has attended sensitivity training and has gone through a lot of effort to make this comeback. When NASCAR announced he was able to comeback fans were ecstatic.

Car owner Rick Hendrick took a chance on him by bringing him in and he has not disappointed. However, this is only the beginning for the 5 team as he still has a lot of work to do in order to achieve the main goal which is his first-ever title.
