Nelson Agholor Signs a Two-year deal worth $26 million. Nelson Agholor coming off his best NFL season yet has been signed to the Patriots, who have been one of the receiving groups the past few years.

Agholor hauled in 48 receptions for 896 yards and eight touchdowns. He also held up the wide receiver one spot for the Raiders. Agholor played in 13 games but appeared in all 16.

The Patriots have been one of the most active teams come day one of the free agency signing more than five players. Bill Belichick, over the last ten years combined, hasn’t spent more than 400 million combining all four years. Just this year has already spent over 150 million.

Some will say it seems like Belichick isn’t happy with Tom Brady winning a ring year one after their departure. After bringing Cam Newton back for one more year, it only fits to get him in a weapon. Jonnu Smith was signed today, so it is clear that the Patriots address their most significant need offensively.

The Patriots had two key players opt-out in Dont’a Hightower and Patrick Chung. Bill is ready to go all-in once again and fight in a very tough AFC that seemed to be owned by Patrick Mahomes.
